Not too long ago, Thomas Robinson was a top NBA prospect out of Kansas. His NBA career hasn't exactly resembled those expectations.

Now in his third season, it appears Robinson is about to play for his fourth NBA team after being waived by the Nuggets on Sunday.

Robinson confirmed it on his own Twitter account later in the day.

After starting the season with the Trail Blazers, Robinson was traded to the Nuggets as part of a deal th

at sent guard Arron Afflalo to Portland .

Since being drafted fifth overall by the Kings in 2012, the forward has become a bit of a journeyman. He was traded to the Rockets during his rookie season before Houston dealt him to the Trail Blazers the following offseason. Robinson appeared in 70 games for Portland last season.

Robinson averaged 3.6 points and 4.2 rebounds in 12.2 minutes per game for the Blazers this season.
